Half-Life: Resonance

Thursday February 13, 2003:

Today I had to guard the monorail stop just outside Anomalous Materials. I tell ya, this job is a hell of a lot more boring without Minesweeper, so I passed the time by counting scientists as they got off.

I swear, after a while they all start to look the same. It’s almost as though the lab rats only have four or five different faces and they just shuffle them around. Even their voices all blended into one.

Still, they probably think the same thing about us. Apparently Dr Horn called Miller ‘Barney’ the other day. I suppose it’s too much to remember quantum physics equations and more than two names at the same time…
